4月30日下午，我校国际课程中心11E全体同学前往了江南大学进行社会实践活动。江南大学是一所以轻工业为特色的理工类公立大学，坐落于江苏省无锡市，是中华人民共和国教育部直属、国家“211工程”重点建设和世界一流学科建设的高校。江南大学历史悠久，其前身是1902年创建的三江师范学堂。1952年由南京大学、复旦大学、武汉大学、浙江大学、私立江南大学的有关科系共同组建了南京工学院食品工业系，1958年该系整建东迁至无锡，随后建立无锡轻工业学院；1995年更名为无锡轻工大学。2001年无锡轻工大学、江南学院、无锡教育学院合并组建了江南大学。
On the afternoon of April 30, all 11E students from the International Curriculum Center of our university went to Jiangnan University for social practice activities.
Jiangnan University is a public university of science and technology characterized by light industry, located in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province. It is a university directly under the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, the key construction of "211 Project" of the country and the world-class discipline construction. Jiangnan University has a long history. Its predecessor is Sanjiang Normal School founded in 1902. In 1952, the Department of Food Industry of Nanjing Institute of Technology was jointly established by Nanjing University, Fudan University, Wuhan University, Zhejiang University and private Jiangnan University. In 1958, the Department was reorganized to Wuxi and then established Wuxi Institute of Light Industry, which was renamed Wuxi University of Light Industry in 1995. 我们首先参观了药学院，令我印象深刻的是他们操作器械是与vr系统结合的。因为操作设备的运行成本过高，学生们可以通过专门的vr系统来实现在虚拟世界里完成一系列的操作。既能熟悉操作的流程，又能省下实验经费，还能降低实验风险，一举三得。
We first visited the Pharmaceutical College, and I was impressed by the combination of their operating instruments and the VR system. Because the operation cost of operating equipment is too high, students can complete a series of operations in the virtual world through a special VR system. It can not only familiarize itself with the operation process, but also save the experimental funds, and reduce the experimental risk.
食品系是江大最著名的专业。他们拥有目前国内最好的实验室以及相对应的多个博士学位。他们还模拟了各种食品的生产的车间，同学们可以在里面进行实际操作。
Food Department is the most famous specialty in Jiangnan University. They have the best laboratories in China and corresponding doctorates. They also simulated various food production workshops in which students could actually operate.
最后，我们和食品院的同学们一起参加了江大五四青年节的活动，聆听了习近平总书记的讲话，受益匪浅。在活动结束后，我们与食品院的学长学姐们讨论了目前困扰着我们的一些学习上的问题以及对未来大学美好的展望。学长学姐热心为我们排忧解难，并指出学习化学的重要性，让我们现在不能仅局限于学好化学知识，更要学会应用，认识到化学是我们生活重要的一部分，在未来的各个领域都有所涉及。通过这次食品院和药学院的学习，让我们开拓了视野，认识到了自己平时生活中的很多误区，了解到了食品的生产与安全。
Finally, we participated in the May 4th Youth Festival of Jiangnan University with the students of the Food Academy, and listened to the speech of President Xi, which benefited a lot. At the end of the activity, we discussed with the senior students and sisters of the Food Institute some of the learning problems that are plaguing us at present and the bright prospects for future universities. The elder sister is eager to solve our problems and problems, and points out the importance of learning chemistry. Let's not only learn chemistry well now, but also learn to apply it. We realize that chemistry is an important part of our life and will be involved in every field in the future. Through this study in the Food and Pharmaceutical Colleges, we have broadened our horizons, realized many misunderstandings in our daily life, and learned about the production and safety of food.
