4月4日中午,小学国际课程中心中英文教师开展了一场“阅读工作坊”,“阅读工作坊”紧跟国际教学理念,阅读课程形式多样,共设九间工作坊,其中包括名家谈吃、读书手账设计工坊、创意书签制作、太阳系之旅、传统游戏、穿“阅”汉唐-古风发饰制作、小小树叶用处大等,外教Jhon老师的Making attractive PPT with prezi,国际初中陈辰老师带来的精彩历史—如果文物会说话。学生根据兴趣自由选课。

我们自制工作坊入场券,学生根据兴趣爱好自主选择感兴趣课堂。

(一)读书手账设计工作坊

华怡婷老师给小朋友带来一场《读书手账设计》,她先介绍了阅读过程中做读书笔记的重要性及如何使用胶带、贴纸和一切可利用的素材来排版和美化自己的读书手账,老师示范完之后,学生自己动手设计了一份读书手帐。课堂上,学生们进一步体会到了无笔墨不读书的重要性,读书手账不仅可以帮助学生提高读书效率,同时也可以激发学生对生活的热爱,提高审美设计能力。

(二)“穿”越汉唐-古风发饰制作

“有服章之美谓之华,有礼仪之大谓之夏。”汉族的民族服饰在世界上最为美丽!华美,几千年以来被万邦推崇。在这个“云想衣裳花想容,春风拂槛露华浓。”的美丽时节,我们迎来了美好的读书月。鲁思齐老师带着孩子们一起穿“阅”汉唐,领略汉服之美,识别汉服的大致种类,叫出对应的名称。“银烛秋光冷画屏,轻罗小扇扑流萤。”精巧的发饰配上华美的服饰,锦上添花,妙不可言,课堂上选取了操作性比较强的发饰——步摇制作。和孩子们一起动手,让文化在指尖流转,让那些古老的美在心间流淌,在制作中与文化对话,在制作中感受中华传统文化的精致和大美。但是由于步摇制作零件比较琐碎复杂,因此也培养了学生的观察能力和耐心,以及审美能力和创造力!

来自国际课程中心中学部的陈辰老师给大家带来一场生动有趣的历史课《如果文物会说话》。她通过对比古埃及法老和汉代帝王的陵墓、陪葬品等,解读两个维度的帝王们关于死亡和永生的思考。并与现实做对比,带领孩子们发现:再华美的陵墓和再精美的陪葬品都不能带来永生,从而引出问题:何物可以永生?接着,她通过对中国流失海外文物的讲解,以及阿富汗国宝在中国巡展的情况,讨论战争带来的对国家的破坏,并在对“文物保护”这个话题下,升华课题“文化不灭,国家永生”。

虽然这是历史学中比较复杂的一个问题,小朋友们在陈老师的引导下,认真听讲和思考,积极互动,整个课堂效果很赞,他们进一步感受到了文物的魅力、历史的魅力。

华老师给小朋友带来一场别有趣味的《名家谈吃》的活动课。她先介绍了中国著名作家和他们各自代表的美食,并且详细介绍了做法和历史渊源。课前设计一份菜单,每介绍一个菜就请学生用贴纸给出是否五星好评。最后通过有奖竞猜和幸运大抽奖的方式来让学生加深对美食文化的印象。在故事与美食中体验中国传统美食文化,在趣味与故事味中感受中国吃文化里的人文内涵:团圆,和谐,亲情。

Leta老师给小朋友们带来了一场《纸间趣影-创意书签制作》工作坊。她简要介绍了书签的作用,带着小朋友们了解了书签的发展历史,并欣赏了各种材质造型的书签。随后学生用雪糕棒制作卡通书签,还有小组合作制作干花书签。这次活动展现了学生无穷的创造力,也以一种独特的方式增强了孩子们关注读书、爱好读书的热情。
