11月8日下午,双语部小学秋季UOI第一期成果展示如期举行。展览墙上印满了孩子们积极主动开展学习的足迹吸引了家长们的关注。

On the afternoon of November 8, the first phase of UOI achievement exhibition of bilingual primary school was held as scheduled.The children's active learning on the exhibition walls attracted the attention of parents.

一年级的探究主题是“学习社区”。孩子们通过走访不同类型的学习社区,了解学习社区从古至今的变化,每一个学生都深深地认识到从学习不只停留在现在,更要着眼于未来,建立一个终身学习的理念。

Grade One’s exploration topic is "learning community".Through visiting different types of learning communities, the children learned about the changes of learning communities from ancient times to modern times. Every student deeply realized that learning was not only about the present, but also about the future, and established the concept of lifelong learning.

二年级的探究主题是“榜样”。同学们通过媒体搜索、采访家人朋友以及阅读分析探究了各行各业的榜样资料,并制作Time杂志,展示自己选择的榜样,同时将自己成为别人的榜样树立为更长远的目标。

Grade Two’s topic of inquiry was "role models".Through media search, interviews with family and friends, and reading and analyzing, students explored the materials of role models in various industries. They also produced Time magazine to show the role models they chose and set themselves as a role model for others as a long-term goal.

三年级的探究主题是“水”。同学们通过了解水的来源和分布体会了水对于人类的重要性,进而制作节水标识并进行宣讲,帮助更多人增强保护水源节约用水的意识。

Grade Three's exploration topic is "water".By understanding the source and distribution of water, the students realized the importance of water to human beings, and then made water-saving signs and made presentations to help more people enhance their awareness of water conservation.

四年级的探究主题是“艺术”。孩子们通过参观学习上海当代艺术博物馆以及上海艺术博物馆,置身于不同艺术形式,去感受,去体验,去实践,去探究。不同艺术形式以及它们的变化使孩子们感受到艺术的魅力以及如何去表达艺术。

Grade Four's topic of inquiry is about "Art".Through visiting and learning about Power Station of Art and MOCA Shanghai, children can experience, practice and explore different art forms.Different art forms and their changes make children feel the charm of art and how to express art.

五年级的探究主题是“人一生中的各个阶段的变化”。同学们通过通过斯芬克斯的谜语导入,制作流程图、曲线图、海报、立体模型等各种形式展现出人在身体方面的变化,不仅了解了伴随人一生的身体、社交、情感和智力在各个阶段的变化,特别是即将处于青春期的同学们该如何提高自我认识,引导学生平稳地度过青春期。

The theme of the fifth grade is "The changes in people's life at various stages".By introducing the riddle of sphinx, students can make flowcharts, graphs, posters, stereoscopic models and other forms to show the changes of people's bodies. Students not only understand the physical, social, emotional and intellectual changes that accompany their life, but also learn how to improve their autognosis and guide students to go through puberty  smoothly.
