What does sharing-bicycle service care about?

《共享单车关心的是什么?》

高一直升(2)班 丁柯玮

Recently, a group of “spirits” showed up in our city. We call them sharing-bicycles. The appearance of sharing-bicycle service makes our daily life easier and more convenient. While enjoying the nice service, we may stop and think about what sharing-bicycle service cares about.
First of all, it is obvious that sharing-bicycle service brings benefits to us, which makes the saying “going while thinking” possible. Just 1 yuan or even cheaper, and you can take a bicycle to any place you would prefer to go to in Wuxi. What’s more, in other respect, riding a bicycle instead of taking a car or a bus helps us keep fit, and undoubtedly, it is also a good way to lose weight as it is already the spring time with summer not far away. In China, there are lots of citizens who are overweight. The local government and companies offering sharing-bicycles may have the awareness to help us become healthier. Last but not least, taking a bicycle can help reduce air pollution, which is one of the biggest environmental problems in the world. China’s pollution is also very serious as well.
To conclude, sharing-bicycle service cares about not only money but also our life and health. As a result, we should offer our support to the service.

Teacher’s comments:
Sharing-bicycle service is quite a heated topic today, as what we can see in the daily conversations, news and on TV. Actually, we can say it is EVERYWHERE in our life. In this composition, Ding Kewei begins with a metaphor by comparing the bicycles to the spirits, which can instantly catch readers’ attention. And then, he elaborates on the topic in three aspects, respectively, the cost, the health and the environment. The former two mainly deal with the personal benefits while the last one is about the advantage to the society, from which we can see his way of thinking about the “care” of the sharing-bicycle service.
