有人说教师是园丁,是蜡烛,而我们认为一个好的老师更应该是一盏灯,只有自己不断的充电才能给孩子们带去更明亮的光。

Someone says that a teacher is a gardener or a candle, but we think that a good teacher should be a lamp, only their own constant charging can bring brighter light to the children.

2019年8月26日,暑热犹在,蝉鸣犹存,离开学还有一周时间,小学双语部的全体老师就已经集中在一起,开启了新学期的“第一课”。

On August 26 ,2019, a week before School and the heat still lingered, the cicadas still chirped,all the teachers in the bilingual department of the primary school have already gathered together to start the "first lesson" of the new semester.

培训期间,老师们以小组合作的探究方式,每个小组随机抽取一个PYP话题,就话题展开两个小时的深入研究讨论,并将讨论结果以PPT、团队互动等多种形式展现出来。每一位老师均参与其中。区别于以往的文件学习,这一次老师们用更加生动的方式来阐述自己的理解,他们采用情景剧的形式模拟课堂并及时对剧中发生的事件给予符合PYP理念的解读,这不仅是对文件的进一步理解,更是结合实际提出新的方法与技巧。

During the training, teachers selected a PYP topic randomly by group cooperation, and conducted in-depth discussion on the topic for two hours. The discussion results were presented in PPT, team interaction and other forms.Each teacher participated in it, different from the previous documents study, this time the teachers used a more vivid way to illustrate their own understanding, for example the teacher,Li Jianlin’s group, they simulated the class with the form of a sitcom and gave the right understanding which accorded with the ideas of PYP,  they not only has the further understanding to the file,but can present new methods and techniques in combination with the actual.

在本次开学前的PYP培训活动中,每一位老师都认真聆听,积极思考,踊跃发言,学习氛围热烈融洽。通过这一次别开生面的培训,老师们惊喜地发现,每一次解读PYP内容都会有新的理解。老师们早已将学习内容以符合IB理念的模式在课堂上呈现,因此对PYP的解读不再是单一的阅读资料,倒更像是老朋友间的互相切磋,取长补短。

 In the PYP training activity before the beginning of the term, every teacher listened carefully, thought actively and spoke enthusiastically. The learning atmosphere was warm and harmonious.After this training, the teachers were pleasantly surprised to find that each interpretation of PYP content would yield a deeper and newer understanding.Because teachers have been gradually presenting the class in a form which consistent with the IB concept, it is no longer a book, but more like old friends learning from each other.

探究本身就是一个不断发现、研究、反思、总结的过程。在探索PYP的路上,我们从不拒绝成长,老师们用实际行动交出了一份令人满意的“暑假作业”。

 Inquiry itself is a process of continuous discovery, research, reflection and summary.In our quest for PYP, we never refused to grow, and our teachers delivered a satisfying "Summer Homework".
