我们致力于“将世界带入课堂，将课堂融入生活”，给每个学生带来全新的学习体验。学部从2017年获得国际文凭组织IBO小学课程PYP项目候选资格后，通过融合PYP项目的课程框架与义务教育阶段国家教材，帮助学生立足自身文化，实现自我认同，同时通过超学科的探究单元（Unit of Inquiry）在学习社区内外用多种学习方式与途径加强学生对世界的认识，促使学生全面发展。PYP项目旨在培养乐于探究、善于思考、善于沟通、敢于冒险、知识渊博、原则性强、关注他人、思想开放、平衡发展、善于反思的终身学习者，是当今世界公认的、培养精英学生的、高水平的国际小学课程。PYP课程包括：“七大核心概念”“六大超学科主题”，以探究单元为课程基本组织单位，教师以探究为驱动教学的主要工具，帮助学生形成概念性理解，培养学习方法，掌握打开世界大门的钥匙。
We are committed to "bringing the world into the classroom and integrating the learning into life”. We are determined to bring a new learning experience to each student. After obtaining the candidacy of International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme in 2017, our department has been helping students to learn from local situation and achieve self-identification. We try to integrate subject knowledge into the PYP curriculum framework. Meanwhile, through the unit of inquiry of six transdisciplinary themes, our department applies a variety of teaching methods inside and outside the learning community to deepen students' conceptual understanding of the world. PYP aims to cultivate lifelong learners with ten positive characters. PYP curriculum framework is regarded as a elite curriculum in the world today. PYP includes seven key concepts and six transdisciplinary themes. It is delivered through transdisciplinary units of inquiry. Teachers use inquiry as the main tool of teaching to develop students’ conceptual understanding and help them apply approaches. In this way students can have the key to open the door of the world.

——WXFLS Bilingual Department Primary School Curriculum
Bilingual Department Primary School of WXFLS adopts a small-class elite teaching model, with no more than 21 students in each class. The teacher-student ratio is approximately 1: 5. All the teaching staff use concept-driven teaching methods and teach based on inquiry. We not only pay attention to the develop students' independent and innovative thinking skills, but also give consideration to improve students ‘collaboration abilities. Meanwhile, we take each student’s academic background into consideration so that students can unlock more potential and make more progress.
Our department always pays attention to the cultivation of students' comprehensive quality and personal cultivation. We hope students could grow up with not only profound knowledge, innovation, international-mindedness, but also traditional virtues and moral nobility. Students will have a world of great options if they are proficient in English, communicate smoothly, express themselves confidently, cooperate with others with good behaviours.Therefore, students can take their choices to further their study in China or study abroad to gain experience.
