    When I sleep, I always have a good dream. One day, however, I had a nightmare. I think it was because I had watched a film which was a little gory before I went to sleep.
    In this strange dream, I was in a forest together with my friends. We didn’t say anything just walked on and on. Suddenly, some of us said, “Oh! I have to do my homework, I have to leave here! I love study! We all must go now!” “What? Hey! Wait!” I pressed the panic button. “Stick to the path, or you’ll get lost!” Someone said. Then, I saw them run away and disappear in the woods. An unexpected thing happened after they had left. I heard a piece of music accompanying a man’s sound, but I didn’t know what he was singing. It almost drove me mad. I kept saying: “Such an abnormal phenomenon will last long...” I accelerated up the path to a cave fearing that there might be wild beasts waiting for me. I went into it. It was dark inside so it took time for my eyes to adjust. Then I saw a small thing in the corner. I looked at it for a long time, I was thinking about what it was and I was very frightened. Then I heard the man’s sound again: “You find me, ok, you are an acute observer, however ...” “What? Hi! However, what? ” I asked again and again. I felt very odd, and I was in a panic situation where I thought he was stand behind me, but I was afraid to see. “However, you should get up now!” “What!” I suddenly woke up, it was 6 o’clock. Yes, I should get up. There is no denying that the dream was too amazing.

    Yesterday I had a dream. However, it was a bad dream, even a very, very terrible one.
    It was on Friday afternoon that I came home from school in a happy mood. On my way home, I received a text-message from my dad --- “Go to hospital hurriedly!” After reading the message, I felt flustered.
    When I arrived at the hospital, I saw my grandpa lying on the bed without breathing. At that moment, I could not think about anything. My mind went blank and I lost my breath. What happened?! I noticed lots of people around the bed crying sadly. My tears ran out of my eyes. I could not believe the truth that he was gone. Although my mother was also very sad, she told me that “When you feel hurt and your tears are about to drop. Please look up and have a look at the sky that once belonged to us. If the sky is still blue and vast as well, you shall not cry, because his leaving does not take away the world that belongs to you. ” I knew that my mother hoped to cheer me up. But I could not stop myself crying.

    Just at the moment, I heard a voice saying “Wake up!” Oh! It was a nightmare. So terrible! So lucky!

    One night, I fell asleep peacefully. Soon after that, I had a nightmare.
    In it, I was pushed into a magic room by someone, where others could get in, but I couldn’t get out. Yes, I couldn’t get out all by myself. I could only collect five things in order to get out within two months. If I failed in doing so, I would be trapped in it forever. I missed my family and my friends so much that I looked for the things day after day. However, I failed at last. Suddenly, a black dragon ate me. I thought I was dead. But suddenly a person said, “You have been changed into a ghost and you will stay in this world for five years.” That’s the God! During these five years, I saw everyone whom I love and who loves me grow up, get married, and get a job, even go to heaven. But what I could do was just look at them. Later on, I closed my eyes. I couldn’t say goodbye to everything that had ever appeared in my world.
    At that time, I woke up suddenly. From then on, I began to care about all the things, because I knew everything would go far away. Although I can’t change it, I can just enjoy it.

Teacher’s comments:
    It’s a struggle to decide which one is the best, for each of them has its own shining features. Wang Yin’s article is refined in its details in describing the plots of the dream. For example, her descriptions of the song with stranger’s voice are very mysterious but attractive, which end in a sudden. This may surprise the readers and leave us lingering on the imagination about what will go on next. Cheng Yuyan’s article is so touching due to her intensive love towards her family. When one of our beloved ones is no longer around us, we can hardly control ourselves. As is shown in the latter part, she can stop the sadness coming from her inner heart despite the encouragement from her mother. Li Xiaoyu’s striking part of his article lies in his post-dreaming thought --- Cherish everyone that we love and treasure everything that we have when they are still THERE. We should lead a life without regret!
